"التكتل الوطني لحقوق الشخص المعوّق":  لدراسة سعر التكلفة

عقد أمس اجتماع ضم أعضاء مكتب تنسيق "التكتل الوطني لحقوق الشخص المعوّق" وأعضاء التكتل في "الهيئة الوطنية لشؤون المعوقين"، في قرية "الكفاءات" في الحدت. وطالب المجتمعون الهيئة الوطنية في اجتماعها المقبل بأن تؤدي دورها في مسألة دراسة سعر التكلفة وتعمل بموجب القانون الصادر في عام 1993، الذي ينص ان على وزارة الشؤون الإجتماعية أن تصدر قبل نهاية آذار من كل سنة دراسة جديدة لسعر التكلفة. كما على الدولة أن تلتزم دفع الفواتير الفصلية بعد مرور 15 يوماً من انتهاء الفصل وليس بعد 6 أشهر من أداء الخدمة التي تقدّم لذوي الحاجات الخاصة. وفي موضوع تصنيف فئات الإعاقة، رأى التكتل ان…

المحكمة الدولية تحقّق في ترهيب شهود مزعومين

أأعلنت المحكمة الخاصة بلبنان في بيان أمس، أنها ستعين «محققا خاصا للتحقيق في ثلاث حوادث يحتمل أن تشكل تدخلا في سير العدالة من خلال نشر هوية شهود مزعومين وأشار البيان الى ان «القاضي دايفيد باراغوانث قد أصدر، بصفته القاضي الناظر في قضايا التحقير لشهر نيسان، قرارا يوم الاثنين يطلب فيه تكليف صديق للمحكمة يعينه رئيس القلم، بعد الحصول على موافقة القاضي، للتحقيق في هذه الحوادث الثلاث. وقد اعتبر القاضي أن هذه الحوادث هي سرية في الوقت الحاضر. وسيحدد نطاق التحقيق ومهلته الزمنية في وقت لاحق». ولفت الى ان «القرار صدر عقب جلسة، سرية بجزء منها، عقدت يوم الخميس الموافق 25…

Kidnappers of clan member demand $1 mln ransom

  The group behind the weekend abduction of a Lebanese clan member in the east of the country is demanding a $1-million ransom for his release. Hussein Kamel Jaafar, who was abducted late Saturday night on the outskirts of the Bekaa Valley town of Arsal, contacted his relatives and told them his abductors wanted a $1-million ransom to release him. Former lawmakers call for elections on time

  Former members of Parliament Wednesday called for holding the upcoming parliamentary elections on time, urging the adoption of an election law that upholds sectarian coexistence in a fair and representative manner. A statement issued after the MPs met in Parliament also called for the effective implementation of the Cabinet’s disassociation policy on Syria and urged the international community to deliver aid that they pledged for Syrian refugees in Lebanon. Civil marriage pioneers say their child will have no sect

The child of the first civil marriage on Lebanese soil will have no sect, newlywed and mother-to-be Kholoud Succariyeh said Thursday. STL defense attorney appointed to ICC list

  Special Tribunal for Lebanon defense attorney Emile Aoun has become the first Lebanese lawyer appointed to the counsel list of the International Criminal Court, the STL announced in a news release Thursday. In February 2012, Aoun was assigned as defense counsel for Salim Ayyash, one of four Hezbollah members accused in the international investigation into the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and 22 others. Saqr Charges 5 Lebanese with Collaborating with Israel

  Five Lebanese people have been charged with cooperating with Israel, reported the National News Agency Wednesday. It said that State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr charged the suspects with collaborating with the enemy before referring their case to First Military Investigation Judge Riyad Abu Ghida.
