BEIRUT: The rights campaign “My Nationality is a Right for My Family and I” welcomed Wednesday the formation of the new Cabinet, but expressed doubt that its tenure would see much change. The campaign demands equal rights for men and women with respect to passing on nationality.  “The campaign doesn’t have much hope regarding the new Cabinet, especially with respect to granting women full citizenship rights.  And since the Cabinet will concentrate on safeguarding security, fighting terrorism and preparing for the presidential election, it won’t find enough time to broach social and rights issues,” it said.
