Centre Nassim for the rehabilitation of victims of torture

 

 

Since 2007, the Centre Nassim provides treatment for the physical, psychological, social and legal consequences of torture. Any person who has been subjected to torture, as defined by the Convention Against Torture, is admitted to the Centre Nassim without any discrimination. Also admitted by the Center are the victims of torture at the hands of organized armed groups, as well as the families of disappeared persons in their capacity as victims of psychological torture. The Center also provides support for the victims’ relatives who have been affected by torture.

Current capacity of the center: 150 to 200 cases per year.
