Majdalyoun Municipality penalized for burning trash
Health Ministry inspectors Monday issued a penalty against a municipality in south Lebanon for burning garbage and endangering public health. “A penalty has been issued against the Majdalyoun Municipality after it was revealed that trash was being collected and burned regularly near residential areas, causing health hazards to citizens and pollution,” a statement issued by the ministry said.
